California Palace of the Legion of Honor

Palace of Fine Arts California Palace of the Legion of Honor

As Haruka got home work to write a report regarding the motif of a drawing which attracted him, the family went up to the town. At first they visited the Palace of Fine Arts whose looking is nice(Left Photo). But it was not a museum of fine arts, but a science museum. It has been changed to the Exploratorium which exhibits scientific things you get hands on experience. So they visited California Palace of the Legion of Honor next(Right Photo). It has a lot of European Arts, especially Rodin's like Stanford Museum. Haruka found an attractive drawing there.

Redwood City Independent Day Parade Redwood City Caltrain Station

This year, Toru and Junko enjoyed a famous parade of the Independence Day at Redwood City in the morning. They took Caltrain which connects San Jose and San Francisco. The left photo shows the parade of horse riding team. Another attractive parade was the brass band march of the Stanford University. They were very cheerful. The right photo shows the station of Redwood city. The family enjoyed the fire works at Fisherman's Wharf in Sanfrancisco. It was greater than that of Half Moon Bay which they saw last year.
