American Football

Being different from Japan, American Football is a popular professional sports game and big cities have their own teams. The family went to 3COM Park to watch the game with San Francisco 49ers vs. New Orleans Saints. The game was lost game by the 49ers, but they enjoyed the show including the dancing of cheer girls and acrobatic horse riding.

Bahama

They went to the Bahamas in the winter holidays. The family stayed at Atlantis resort hotel in "Paradise" island near Nassau. This hotel was wonderful! The hotel has three towers and the bridge room of "Choral Tower" (Upper Left) which costs $2500 per night(!?) where Michael Jordan of Chicago Bulls stayed for 1 month, they said. (But they stayed at another tower, of course). The hotel has their own private beach(Upper Right), Takeshi and Haruka enjoyed Jet Skiing, Para Sailing and Banana Boat with Toru. They also enjoyed a mini golf course in the hotel(Lower Left) beside the tennis court. But the most amazing is the inhouse aquarium. Since the theme of this hotel is the old city Atlantis which went under the sea, the towers and paths seems to exist in the huge aquarium so that visitors can see fish through the windows everywhere. Toru was interested in many stingrays including big Mantas. There are big pools for sharks and turtles and one of their symbolic amusement is the water sliding from the top of the Maya shrine to a pool of sharks(Lower Right).
