  Temporary Return to Japan

Tamatsukuri-Onsen Chorakukan Ichibata Department Store

The family returned to Japan temporarily after 2 years stay in USA. As they had missed Onsen(Hot Spring) very much, they enjoyed a big open air Onsen at a famous Ryokan(Japanese Traditional Hotel) located near Toru's home town(LeftPhoto). Also Toru went to a local department store to buy a new suit since he couldn't find the right size in USA.

Birthday Party in Hadano Tempura Restaurant in Roppongi

On this trip to Japan, Haruka was celebrated for his 15th birth day and Takeshi was celebrated for his 18th birth day. The left photo shows the birth day parties which their relatives held at a restaurant located in Junko's home town. The right photo has been taken at a famous Tempura restaurant "Hozumi" located at Akasaka. During the visit, they enjoyed not only Tempura, but also Yakiniku and Udon which aren't as good in USA as in Japan.

Two Concerts(Toru, Junko)

Beethoven Symphony No.9 at Stanford Memorial Church Beethoven Piano Concerto No.5 at Suntory Hall

Toru enjoyed the music composed by Beethoven twice. One is the Symphony No.9 at Stanford University Memorial Church in which Toru's colleague participated as a member of the Choir(Left Photo). The sound was impressive because the church is made of stones. The other is the Piano Concerto No.5 at Suntory Hall in Japan(Right Photo).
