1997 was a special year for Takeshi and Haruka because they spent the last year of their school, junior high school for Takeshi and elementary school for Haruka. They enjoyed school excurtion very much.

Takeshi experienced Mikoshi-Carrier in Japanese traditional shrine's summer festival. Haruka had hamsters between April to November, and experienced the life and death of animal.

Toru and Junko made a short trip to Hagi city, which has many cultural and natural legacies, in summer holidays.

Toru enjoyed Japanese traditional dance "Nihon-buyou" adding to classic and jazz concerts. Junko got the 1st grade license about wearing Japanese traditional Kimono wear.(As she knew the result of examination test on the last day of the year, no description is in the following.)
